Advances in engine performance technologies may one day provide answers to these issues. California based company Transonic Combustion’s, TSCi Fuel Injection system will offer drivers greater fuel efficiency with a decreased carbon footprint. The company also claims the system will outperform its hybrid competition.  Without signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement, the only real technical aspect that has been released is: “by utilizing supercritical state fuel, TSCi Fuel Injection achieves lean combustion and ultra-high efficiency by operating on modern high compression engines, incorporating precise ignition timing and carefully minimized waste heat generation.”   Many eagerly await a more detailed report on this upcoming technology.
